How to Add a Company Logo

How to Add a Company Logo

Your corporate image/logo can be uploaded to EMDECS to use on various invoices and statements provided to your customers.

Add a Corporate Logo

Go to Administration > Corporate Setup Manager > Invoice Setup

To add a Corporate Logo go to the Logo tab then click + Add Corporate Image

In the pop-up Select the Corporate Logo Image Type.

Click Choose File then select the logo file from your computer and click Open

EMDECS supports the following file formats:
  1. BMP
  2. GIF
  3. JPG
  4. PNG

Once the file is chosen, click the Upload button. A preview of the image should appear. If this looks correct click OK.

If you get a broken image symbol after clicking Upload, the file you've chosen is incompatible with EMDECS, so you must select another file type.
You can convert file types by searching for a free file converter on Google
Some examples are:
  1. convertio.co
  2. freeconvert.com

After clicking OK you should see the Image type at the top and a preview of the image at the bottom of the screen.

  1. You can use the Default check box to indicate the image should be the default company logo on all invoice and statement types
  2. Use the red X to delete the image type and file
  3. Use the Choose File and Upload buttons to change the current image

Here is an example of a Repair Order with the Corporate Logo shown in the top left corner of the invoice.

Add a Logo for Specific Invoice Types

To add different images/logos for different invoice/statement types, repeat the steps under Adding a Corporate Logo, but instead select the appropriate Invoice type from the list given after clicking + Add Corporate Image.

Shown below are the available Invoice types.

Add a Logo for a Repair Location

You also have the option of adding a different logo to the invoices of a specific Repair location.

Go to Administration > Corporate Setup Manager > Repair Locations

Drill down on the Repair location you want to add the logo to.

Click on the Logo tab and click + Add

Select which Image Type you want the logo to be on.

Click Choose File then select the logo file from your computer and click Open

EMDECS supports the following file formats:
  1. BMP
  2. GIF
  3. JPG
  4. PNG

Once the file is chosen, click the Upload button. A preview of the image should appear. If this looks correct click OK.

Now you can see that for Counter Sale Invoices created at 905 Truck and Trailer Repair Location, the displayed logo will be used on the invoices.

Repeat these steps to add the same or different logos to other Image Types.

Use the Choose File and Upload buttons to change the current image.
